AMOB has recently installed in Europe, one of the largest cold pipe bending machines ever delivered in the world. AMOB NC hydraulic mandrel bender model CH220CN1 with the capacity to cold bend pipes up to 219,1mm x 12,7 mm. The purchaser target was to produce elbows up to 219,1mm x 8,8mm with controlled wall thinning and ovality in the shortest manufacturing cycle time. It was also required  that the machine would be capable of providing accurate, repeatable bending of large diameter mild steel elbow pipes at thin wall and tight radii. During trials AMOB has not only archive figures but also considerably improve process cycle as well as pre-specified specs. Another story of success!
